Leave your thinking caps at the door. Wild Hogs is a little no-brainer movie with big stars, which makes it a tad disappointing when the script and direction fail to live up to the potential of the storyline and stellar ensemble.

Four middle-aged men decide to go on a road trip on their bikes across America. Doug (Time Allen) and Bobby (Martin Lawrence) are married men tied down to their families in need of freedom for a change. Woody (John Travolta) has just been separated from his model wife and his life is falling apart while Dudley is a mild-mannered computer geek who has no luck with women. The four buddies, who call themselves Wild Hogs, embark on a journey to "nowhere" to re-discover the youthfulness that they've lost. The story set-up is promising but runs out of gas mid way in.

At a pitstop bar, they come across a biker gang called The Del Fuegos led by Jack (Ray Liotta) who despises the weekend bikers. He bullies the Wild Hogs and takes Dudley's bike. Woody goes back to steal the bike back and accidentally blows up the gang's bar. The Del Fuegos go in search of the Wild Hogs seeking revenge.

While top billing goes to the four main leads, it is Ray Liotta who has the funniest scenes. His over-the-top portrayal of Jack and his comical biker gang members bring in the laughs. Too many inane slapstick moments and poop jokes that aren't very funny spoil the movie while the climax is a bit of a letdown too. It's not one of the funniest movies of the year but it should still put a smile on your face.
